Proposed changes for Rosehill Farm Kingskerswell

Firstly many thanks to all of you who have taken the time to sign and share details of this petition.
Much has happened since last update. The Rosehills' Farm at top of Fluder Hill currently has Application for prior approval under Part 3 Class Q (a) and (b) paragraph W of the GPDO for change of use of agricultural building to five dwellings - basically application for five dwellings which will take the place where all farm buildings which are currently in place. Ref. No. 19/00766/NPA. Details to be found at Teignbridge District Council https://www.teignbridge.gov.uk/planning/forms/planning-application-details/?Type=Application&Refval=19/00766/NPA
Along with this much of the land at the front of Rosehill Farm and also to the rear of Fluder Hill is for sale, most of which is Under Offer, details of which can be found on Savills website https://search.savills.com/property-detail/gbetraexr190051
Where does this leave us as a community and the future of Kingskerswell? Honestly I am not sure, but it would be good to see this petition reach the 2,500 mark. I believe that the protection of the wildlife and farming land may be the saving grace for the area proposed for development of KK1. Many people may think this ridiculous given our current Governments policy of building on green pastures but as you can see with this posting time passes and objectives change. CPRE here in the UK currently have a campaign in place to try to persuade the powers that be to use 'brown land' for development rather than our green farmland pastures, again please take the time to check it out.
Finally I and hopefully my fellow neighbours of Kingskerswell will keep the hope alive that for a few years yet we can maintain village life as we know and have come to value it, along with 'our' farm which should be kept as an integral part of any community.
