SAVE KINGDA KA!

SAVE KINGDA KA!
The Issue
In 2024 it has been heavily speculated and NOW CONFIRMED that Kingda Ka - the world's tallest operating roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ, U.S.A. is scheduled for removal as early as January 2025l
Since its opening season in 2005, Kingda Ka - the record-breaking marquee attraction of the park has garnered global tourism for this legacy Six Flags theme park, the state of New Jersey, and the nation. It has been welcoming both a local fan-base and world-wide travelers alike for the past 19 years and counting. Its sheer height of 456 ft, 128 mph speed, and hydraulic launch continues to impress park goers and coaster enthusiasts from the young to the young at heart.
In 2014 fans of the tallest roller coaster in the world were treated to an additional record breaking thrill when Zumanjaro, the world's tallest drop tower at 415 ft was added to Kingda Ka's infrastructure. Park guests had their choice of soaring to new heights while anticipating a duel between the two rides, offering yet another unforgettable park visit.
Ask any Six Flags guest walking this park's grounds and they will tell you that the MAIN reason they visit is for a chance to experience Kingda Ka and/or Zumanjaro simply because there is no other experience that can compare.
This amazing strata coaster STILL fills all of its switchbacks and can grow lines resulting in hours-long wait times: an OBVIOUS crowd pleaser. Removing this incredible engineering feat would have a devastating impact on Great Adventure's operations and world-wide tourism to this park would cease.
I now call upon the tight-knit and committed coaster community to unite and save Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro. They're still standing as of November 2024. Which means there's still time!
To Mr. Richard Zimmerman, CEO, Mr. Selim Bessoul, Chairman, and Mr. Brian Bacica SFGAdv Park President:
We respectfully IMPLORE Six Flags Entertainment Corporation to reconsider any future plans to possibly remove these attractions and instead preserve / maintain Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro at Six Flags Great Adventure as their presence is vital to the park's survival.
Thank you!
