Dear Community Members,

Limor Ness, is a dedicated veterinary nurse, animal lover, and owner of a nonprofit religious animal rescue sanctuary in Winnetka, CA. For over a decade, her sanctuary has provided a safe haven for neglected, abandoned, and abused animals while offering a unique healing space for our community. Kfar Saba Urban Farm is at risk of closure.

Kfar Saba Urban Farm is not just an animal rescue sanctuary, it's a place of healing and transformation. The rescued animals, all trained and desensitized to various stimuli, offer unconditional love and compassion to everyone from the elderly to the young, the physically and mentally disabled, and everyone in between. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kfar Saba was a much-needed refuge for many who were isolated, stressed, depressed and frightened.

Due to unfounded complaints the Department of Building and Safety have put our precious rescue farm under threat.

Their aim has always been to be good neighbors and members of our community. They have gone to great lengths to mitigate any inconveniences their activities might cause. Despite their efforts, they are now facing severe consequences, including losing their beloved rescue animals and risking the ability to offer this safe haven to our community.

We are calling on all supporters of animal rights, mental health advocates, and are supportive communities, to sign this petition to stop the unwarranted action against Kfar Saba Urban Farm. Let us stand united against prejudice, ensuring that this haven of healing and love remains open for all who need it.
