We, the undersigned of this petition, express our deep concern about the critical situation of the Iranian singer Toomaj Salehi, currently facing execution by the totalitarian regime in Iran.

 

 

Toomaj Salehi is a committed artist who has bravely used his voice and songs to advocate for freedom, justice, and human rights in Iran. His courage and determination to convey messages of peace and hope deserve our utmost respect and unwavering support.

The Iranian government has sentenced Toomaj Salehi, an Iranian rapper, to death for speaking out against four decades of poverty, inflation, executions, oppression of women, and harsh living conditions for the working class, as well as for rejecting any form of dictatorship. He has now become the voice of many.

We urgently call for action to save the lives of death row inmates, especially political prisoners.

We urge the United Nations, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the European Union, the World Music Awards Academy, and the international community and all the musicians personalities mobilize to save the life of this courageous artist and to exert pressure on the Iranian regime to end all repression against artists and human rights defenders.

Nous, les soussignés de cette pétition, exprimons notre profonde préoccupation face à la situation critique du chanteur iranien Toomaj Salehi, actuellement menacé d'exécution par le régime totalitaire en Iran.

 

 

Toomaj Salehi est un artiste engagé qui a courageusement utilisé sa voix et ses chansons pour défendre la liberté, la justice et les droits de l'homme en Iran. Son courage et sa détermination à transmettre des messages de paix et d'espoir méritent notre plus profond respect et notre soutien indéfectible.

Le gouvernement iranien a condamné à mort Toomaj Salehi, un rappeur iranien, pour avoir dénoncé quatre décennies de pauvreté, d'inflation, d'exécutions, d'oppression des femmes et de conditions de vie difficiles pour la classe ouvrière, ainsi que pour avoir rejeté toute forme de dictature. Il est désormais devenu la voix de nombreux Iraniens.

Nous appelons de manière urgente à agir pour sauver la vie des condamnés à mort, en particulier des prisonniers politiques.

Nous exhortons les Nations Unies, le Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies aux droits de l'homme, l'Union européenne, l'Académie mondiale des musiques, la communauté internationale et toutes les personnalités des musiciens à se mobiliser pour sauver la vie de cet artiste courageux et à exercer une pression sur le régime iranien pour mettre fin à toute répression contre les artistes et les défenseurs des droits de l'homme.
