Our beloved family pet, Icon, has been condemned. After an unfortunate event where Icon bit an unwelcome visitor, against our explicit warning,.He has been held in Metro Animal Shelter with an execution order since August. During this time I have undertaken a strenuous legal struggle, spanning three courts, but the odds seem obstinately stacked against us. With heavy hearts, we feared our fight for his life was ending. He is scheduled to be euthanized this Saturday. 

However, amidst our sorrow, a flicker of hope arose. A renowned animal rescue organization, specializing in rehabilitating canines with behavioral challenges and previous bite records, has expressed their intent to take him under their wing. There is yet a chance at life for Icon, a chance at proving that he can be part of a harmonious society again.

Despite this ray of hope, the challenge persists. Judge Hand has shown unwillingness to entertain this motion of life for our Icon. Unfortunately, the all too common narrative across America is that millions of animals are euthanized yearly due to the overpopulation of shelters (Source: American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). It’s our prayer that with your help, Judge Hand opens his heart to the option of Icon going to the rescue rather than end his life!
