iCarly is a Nickelodeon television show that is highly popular. iCarly was on Nickelodeon from September 8, 2007 to November 23, 2012. iCarly is about a teenager named Carly who creates and hosts her own web show with her best friends Sam and Freddie in her apartment loft that she lives in with her older brother Spencer. As the web show quickly becomes an internet phenomenon, the characters are tasked with balancing their normal teenage lives with the wacky situations their newfound fame lands them in. By the fourth season, their school friend Gibby (Noah Munck) starts working with them on the web show. In December 2020, a revival of the series was ordered by Paramount Plus with Cosgrove, Kress and Trainor returning as there characters Carly, Freddie, and Spencer. The revival series premiered on June 17, 2021. The revival series was not a reboot. The cast said it was a continuation of the original show. They said they wanted the iCarly revival to be more adult. They said the original kids that grew up watching iCarly are around in there 30’s now so they wanted the revival of iCarly to grow up with them. It premiered on Paramount+ on June 17, 2021, to positive reviews. The second season premiered on April 8, 2022, while the third season premiered on June 1, 2023. In October 2023, the series was canceled after three seasons. The premise of the iCarly revival was that nine years after the events of the previous series, Carly Shay has moved back to Seattle, where she shares an apartment with her roommate Harper. Carly's older brother Spencer has become a wealthy rich artist after accidentally creating a renowned sculpture. Following two divorces and a failed tech start-up, Freddie Benson has moved back to live with his mother, accompanied by his adopted 11-year-old stepdaughter Millicent. All main characters still live in the Bushwell Plaza, the apartment building where the original show was set. When Carly decides to relaunch her iCarly webshow, she receives mainstream attention with the help of Spencer, Freddie and her new friends. There are still things that need to be tied up before iCarly can go away! This is not fair because lots of people like iCarly. In the last episode of the season 3 iCarly revival they were throwing a wedding for Freddie’s mom Ms. Benson and Lubert. At the wedding Ms. Benson and Lubert wanted to run off to Vegas to get married alone. So they left the wedding and ran off. So after they left Freddie wanted to marry Carly right then and there and he was talking to her about it when all of a sudden Spencer and Carly’s mom walked in. Then the episode ended. In the original series we knew nothing about Spencer and Carly’s mom and what she did to them. We have know idea why they never want to talk about her. We have never seen what she looks like. Then the revival series was about to introduce us to there mom. Now we find out the show is cancelled. There are so many things the show needs to do before paramount can just cancel it. We need to see Lubert and Ms. Benson come back from getting married, we need to see Spencer and Carly’s mom walk into the wedding. We have been wanting since the original series to find out details on there mom. I wanted the show to finally introduce us to Spencer’s friend Socko. There is so much potential for this show. Please sign this petition so we can get Paramount Plus to keep going with iCarly. We need Season 4 and beyond it a movie or something. A cliff where Spencer and Carly’s mom walk in is definitely it a way to cancel a show. And I know all the loyal iCarly fans will definitely agree with me.
