To our incredible 4,800+ supporters — thank you for standing with us to preserve a legacy we all cherish.
We’ve come a long way together. Hudson’s Bay may have closed its doors, but the story doesn’t have to end there.
Now, one woman is stepping up to save what matters most — the people.
Ruby Liu, a Canadian entrepreneur and mall owner, has stepped in to acquire 25 former Hudson’s Bay locations with a plan to reopen them under her own inclusive, family-focused department store vision. She’s already begun rehiring former Hudson’s Bay employees and is hosting a massive job fair this July to bring hope back to thousands of workers and vendors across the country.
But there’s a new challenge. Many landlords are opposing her plan — and without public support, Ruby’s dream to revive these stores and save hundreds of jobs may be lost.
That’s why we’re asking YOU to add your voice once again.
📢 Please sign & share this new petition in support of Ruby Liu’s acquisition:
If we could rally almost 5,000 voices to save Hudson’s Bay, we can do it again — this time to protect the vendors, the jobs, and the spirit of Canadian retail.
Let’s make sure the story doesn’t end here.
Let’s give hope a second chance.
