Save Hof's Hut Bixby Knolls

The Issue

Hof's Hut Restaurant Bixby Knolls is immediately threatened with demolition! This location of Hof's Hut, on the 4200 block of Long Beach Boulevard in the City of Long Beach, was designed by master architect Edward Killingsworth and opened in 1960. It served as a popular community gathering spot for 55 years until a fire forced its closure in 2015. The building has been assessed by conservation professionals and restoration is feasible and economically viable, yet a demo permit has been granted. The owners and city of Long Beach need to hear from you! Sign the petition to let them know you support restoration of the Killingworth design for a restaurant or another viable business.
