URGENT PLEASE READ - Calling on Community Support

After a long court battle which is planning to be appealed if the judge allows it, Lupe Breard is being evicted and is struggling financially and dealing with health issues. Her case regarding housing was mishandled and all of her evidence was not included. I've witnessed Lupe advocating for herself and her home that she grew up in for the past 65 years and at most every turn being failed by our system. Disability assistance can take years for acceptance and Lupe is one of many on that list. Low income, technology illiteracy, the housing crisis, lack of family support, health issues - these are some of the obstacles that Lupe and so many are dealing with. With cooperative economics, we have a chance to be in spirit with the commitment to the practice of shared economic and resource responsibility which includes caring for our elders and those who are not able bodied.
