Being Evicted - CALLING on Community Support

This fundraiser is for Lupe, our beloved resident of Elysian Heights for over 60 years. She is being evicted from her home because the house her family owned was recently sold. There's a huge backstory, but due to complications with the Will, Lupe is not included as one of the beneficiaries to receive a payout from sale. Between all of these complexities, and on top of living with disability, this is a huge amount of stress. I'm calling on community to contribute any little bit towards supporting Lupe with some financial relief as she prepares for this epic transition. Packing up her entire life, saying goodbye to her childhood home, the home her children then grew up in, and doing this post Covid, it's a lot. If we can come together and offer just a little bit of support, I know Lupe would be so incredible touched, and beyond the money, just feeling the support of community means so much.
