Hi all - firstly, thank you so much for your ongoing support. It means the world, as we continue to try to save 1245 Edward from Dal's wrecking ball.  We are close to 5,500 signatures now!

I'm starting a rumour. Well, it's a rumour that I hope we can substantiate very soon. By complete serendipity, today I learned about architect William Critchlow Harris, a famous builder of houses, churches and many many buildings of importance in PEI and NS. Something rang a bell. I started jumping around the Internet and looking at photos. I think we may have a house that was designed by him.  If I'm right, it's even more appalling that this demolition might happen. But that's only a rumour, so, shhhh...keep it to yourself for now.

Thank you for believing that this beautiful old house deserves to stand upright for another 125 years!
