So happy to speak with supporters and raise our voices to media and each other about this unnecessary destruction. Thanks to the Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia for issuing a statement, and to their Board members for turning up, as well as Dalhousie faculty members, past and present. Here's a shot of the Hobrecker family in the backyard in the 1930s. All the plants have been dug up by the university now; at least their gardeners care about preserving beautiful things!
