Dear all 

As you may know the council administration has consulted on proposals to close 4 of the borough's 5 branch libraries including Harold Wood  They say that this could save around £300,000 a year.

Harold Wood Councillors have submitted a motion to call a halt to plans to close any libraries and to convert these libraries under threat into multi-use venues for existing Council services otherwise these libraries will be lost forever. 

There will be a peaceful protest Rally for Libraries at the next full council meeting, please come along and show your support for Harold Wood library and the other libraries across Havering. Details  below:
