Save Greenhills library and Community Hall and all SLC closures

Save Greenhills library and Community Hall and all SLC closures
The Issue
These facilities are well used by many members of our community such as: senior citizens, dementia groups, foodbank, craft and knitting groups, dog training, book clubs,U3A, adult literacy students and families with young children.
I have ran the local baby and toddler group for approx 25 years from Greenhills community hall, it has been running in Greenhills for over 40years, and would be gutted if this community hall was closed. Every community needs somewhere where groups can meet, books can be borrowed, nursery rhymes sang, assistance given to use computers and basic human contact. If the closures are agreed we will never be able to get facilities like it again. Slowly our council has been eroding away our communities.
Closure of greenhills Communiy Hall/library and others across the council area would remove:
Valuable support networks for otherwise isolated and vulnerable people - both young and old.
Free access to computers and WiFi. Essential for those who have no access to the internet at home.
Provision of free period products and hearing aid batteries, pre and postnatal vitamins plus dog waste bags.
Warm and welcoming spaces where ALL of our community can socialise and learn. Our children especially need socialisation to help them develop into confident learners and members of society.
Please sign this petition to show your support and save YOUR community facilities. We as a community can join together and show how important these areas are.
