A local group of residents in CA is fighting a Canadian Company's attempt to reopen a mine. The conditions are extremely similar to those here.  If you need motivation to stay involved and remember why we care, take 10 minutes and read the linked article:

It seems unconscionable to me that any Government entity would consider granting a permit when we're in a period of water shortage, water quality issues, extreme drought, and extreme fire hazard (my opinion).

Let's turn our temporary success (permit withdrawal) into an abandonment of Zephyr's claims!
