Because of the incredible support from our community, Glades Middle School will remain open!

Thank you to every single person who signed this petition, sent emails, made phone calls, spoke at School Board and community meetings, and showed up in support of our school. Your voices were heard, and they truly made the difference.

This outcome is proof of what happens when a community comes together to advocate for its students, families, and educators. The time, energy, and passion you poured into this effort mattered.

What’s Next?
Our work is not finished. The next step in this journey begins next school year as we transition Glades into a K–8 school. This transition will allow us to continue serving our community in an even stronger, more sustainable way by supporting students from elementary through middle school while preserving the programs, culture, and excellence that make Glades special. We look forward to continuing this work together.
