In Grant Road, there is a Famous Playground called Gilder Tank Ground. This Ground was used by Children for Playing, Senior Citizens for taking Walks and Citizens of Mumbai. 

Since more then 10 Years, this Public Ground is being used for Commercial Activities like Shooting of Films, TV Serials, Documentary Films. The General Members of Public are Not Allowed to use this Ground. The Ground is Often Filled with Generator Vans generating Toxic Fumes, Shooting Companies openly Violating Permissible Time Limits, Making Noise and Destroying the Peace of the Neighborhood. 

The Residents of Grant Road have lost access to Gilder Tank Ground. The Children of Grant Road have no access to Gilder Tank Ground. The Senior Citizens of Grant Road have no access to take Walks in Gilder Tank Ground.

The MCGM School Department has installed a board outside Gilder Tank mentioning "Grant Road Public School". This building is not used as a school building.

The MCGM School Department gives the Excuse that the Gilder Tank Ground is Not Open for Public by saying it is being used by Mumbai Metro Corporation Limited to build the Grant Road Metro Station.

The same MCGM School Department is making Money by giving out this Public Ground to Shooting Companies. The Public Ground is being used for Commercial Purposes and the General Members of Public are Not Allowed to use Gilder Tank Ground. 

We want the Maharashtra State Government to ensure that 

1. The Gilder Tank Ground is opened for the General Members of Public once again like it used to be many years back 
2. Children are allowed to Play in one Section of Gilder Tank Ground and the other section of Gilder Tank Ground is converted into a Garden for the Residents of Grant Road
3. The Public Ground is given back to the Public

Shooting Companies Violating Shooting Permissions. Make Noise In the Middle Of The Night. Move Heavy Vehicles In The Middle Of The Night
