The GHSA (Georgia High School Association) has altered the competitiveness of all sports within their organization with the 2022-2023 reclassification. This issue was on display once again this past week during the GHSA Basketball Playoff games where there were "homegrown" public-school teams that were matched up with "recruited" private-school teams. This was a hot topic all week long, and still is in the communities that have been affected by the GHSA's executive committee's decision-making. The organization should have taken this issue into serious consideration before it ended the public-private split.

While we can not get the teams that were affected by this another opportunity. It is with great hope that all players, coaches, fans, and community leaders will stand up for what is right within their communities and sign this petition for the high school student-athletes going forward.
