Geneva is internationally renowned for the beauty of its landscape and architecture. However its heritage is under attack: the "Cantonal Master Plan 2030", adopted by the authorities in 2013, sets densifications norms that have already started destroying not only cultural heritage, but also nature and biodiversity. Furthermore, instead of benefitting Geneva residents  at large, the construction boom mainly benefits real estate circles. Genevan citizens and inhabitants, Geneva lovers, supporters of sustainable development as well as heritage conservation specialists have repeatedly, but vainly asked for a moratorium to reconsider the Cantonal Master Plan and set new targets of reasonable development, respectful of the architectural heritage and the landscape. The authorities have so far remained unresponsive to our demands; international support may make a difference. Thank you in advance for supporting our cause!

Genève doit à la beauté de ses paysages et de son architecture une renommée internationale. Cependant, son patrimoine est attaqué: le "Plan directeur cantonal 2030", adopté par les autorités en 2013, fixe des normes de densification qui ont déjà commencé à détruire non seulement le patrimoine culturel, mais aussi la nature et la biodiversité. De plus, au lieu de profiter aux habitants de Genève, le boom de la construction profite principalement aux milieux de l'immobilier. Citoyens et habitants de Genève, amoureux de Genève, défenseurs du développement durable ainsi que spécialistes de la conservation du patrimoine ont demandé en vain à plusieurs reprises un moratoire pour réexaminer le Plan directeur cantonal 2030 et définir de nouveaux objectifs de développement raisonnable, respectueux du patrimoine architectural et du paysage. Les autorités n'ont jusqu'à présent pas répondu à nos demandes. Un soutien international peut faire la différence. Merci d'avance de soutenir notre cause!
