GABRIEL'S WHARF IS UNDER THREAT

of closure, demolition and commercial redevelopment.

We have until October 2026 to save it.

For nearly forty years Gabriel's Wharf has been a unique space on London's South Bank, a diverse and vibrant place where independent shops and restaurants can thrive while creating a welcoming safe space and much-loved destination both for local people and international visitors. 

The proposed closure to redevelop and commercially monetise the site would:

• completely change the character of this part of the South Bank
• be a great loss of cultural amenity for its many faithful visitors
• destroy the diverse community of independents who create its unique atmosphere

To help save Gabriel's Wharf and support its small shops and art galleries, designer-makers, restaurants and food artisans
