Government Decides To Scrap Freeview!

Under cover of the resignation of the Prime Minister the Government today slipped out a consultation document on the future of Freeview. In it they make clear that they intend to switch to internet-only TV, the only question being when. The Government is arguing strongly for the earliest possible switchover by 2034, which would mean starting the process soon.
