An open letter to Andy Burnham putting the case to save Freeview TV has been sent by the Silver Voices Director, Dennis Reed. The letter is the subject of a major article in the Daily Mirror which will heap more pressure on the Government to change its mind about scrapping Freeview in the near future:

Burnham has already shown sympathy towards other Silver Voices campaigns such as protecting the Triple Lock, bringing forward social care reforms and increasing the personal tax allowance for retirees.
