It is being reported on X that Margaritaville has issued gentle notices to local podcasters that the Motto Finsup is their property. 
Jimmy Buffett was a coowner of the Miami Dolphins, the stadium was named Landshark Stadium for a while, Jimmy’s song Fins used to play when the Dolphins scored. The motto has not been monetized and serves as a reference to Margaritaville. 

We would like Margaritaville Resorts and their parent company to license the motto Finsup to the Miami Dolphins for $1. This would allow them control over the use of the motto and demonstrate the good will they have towards the Dolphins and their fans.

Unless Margaritaville does not care to be associated with Miami Dolphin fandom it could work to their advantage by associating their brand with the Miami Dolphins. I am sure fans would appreciate the linkage.
