We learned our fate on Tuesday.

 

The sanction preventing Elemental Robotics Inc. from competing in the 2022-2023 VEX season was REVERSED. Potassium Gears 772K and Chlorinated Encoders 772E (currently an all girls team!!) will appear at their first tournament on November 19th!

However, Potassium Gears 772K will be proceeding without Cole.

Despite overwhelming evidence to show human error and a crystal clear intent by former teammates to destroy Cole's plans to compete as in independent team, the REC decided he could not participate in the 2022-2023 season.

This all started because a student/former teammate registered the number 882 with no intention to use it and then demanding that Cole pay $1,000 to be able to get the number.  That started a snowball of events where others involved shamelessly continued the cruel joke with fake claims.  Additionally, he was accused of stealing a logo. The former logo for Potassium Gears was NOT owned by any individual.  It was team designed and a former member digitalized it.  That's it.  No contract, no payments, no ownership.   

Unfortunately, those involved with this scheme to prevent Cole from competing will face NO consequences. 

We're moving on.  Elemental Robotics was created to LEAVE the drama and provide a safe environment for student to learn, build, compete, etc. under a student-led policy.  

We'll compete this year in HONOR of Cole.  It's his vision, his plan and his goal.  He'll be a spectator and support the team he created because he's NOT leaving.  He'll be back next year and heaven help the people that try to stand in his way.
