The Campaspe Shire Council are planning to Close the Echuca Back 9 Golf Course on January 31st 2018.  We need your help by signing this petition to be presented to the Campaspe Shire Council at a meeting on 23rd January 2018.  This is vital in demonstrating the communities passion to retain this amenity for all to use into the future.

The purpose of this petition is to prevent the closure of the Back Nine Golf Course in Echuca.

The Back Nine Course has been used as a golf course for 70 years and has a strong community history. There are two social clubs who run weekly competitions as well as many visitors who use the course regularly. It is ideal for golfers unable to play a full round or for beginners & juniors to learn the game and is inexpensive. The course also provide a fantastic natural space for the community to enjoy.

A meeting for interested people will be held @ 11am on Australia Day (January 26th) to provide an update after the meeting with Councilors of the Campaspe Shire Council held on the 23rd January.
