Friends, have you heard what these activists are demanding?

Protesters have demanded that Councilman Mitch O'Farrell agree to create a contract allowing an estimated 60 or so homeless people "continued residency in the park'' as long as they promise to keep the park clean and not be a nuisance to visitors.

That's right. They want a small colony of SIXTY people living in the lake, forever. And it won't just stop there. Will they be content at sixty? Maybe a hundred? Two hundred? Realistically we know just from looking at Skid Row, that a small unhoused community doesn't stay small for very long.

They truly want our entire lake to become housing. No more room for families or children, no more fishing, no more events and music or festivals.

Their demands become larger and larger the longer they are allowed to take our space from us- and enough will never be enough.

Yesterday, over 50 of you singed my petition in one day. That's huge- but we can get those numbers up way higher. If you agree with what I've said here and in my petition, then share it to whoever you can- so we can tell Eric Garcetti and Mitch O' Farrell WE ARE NOT HAPPY! And OUR LAKE IS A PARK, NOT HOUSING!

BUILD THE HOUSING WE VOTED FOR!

Thank you for your time friends, now onto 100 signatures and beyond
