Thank you to everyone who has signed the petition so far. It has passed 7,000 supporters which is amazing.

I have decided that the decision maker for this petition should be Maggie Chapman who is rector of the university plus an MSP for the Green Party. One would think that she would have a special interest in the survival of the gardens.  

I am waiting for the petition numbers to increase a bit more then I will be contacting her with the petition.  In the meantime it would be helpful if some of you also email her about this.  

Particularly those of you who have special connections to the gardens such as leaves on the the Tree of Tranquility or have been involved in learning experiences within the garden.
