Community Event This Sunday & Upcoming Council Meeting

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on our community campaign to save Don Bosco.

Community event this Sunday 9 August, 2:30-5pm

Please come to Don Bosco this Sunday afternoon to show your support for keeping this beloved youth centre in community hands.

We’ll be inviting along Merri-bek Councillors and Victorian Government politicians so they can hear directly from the community about what this centre means to us.

Merri-bek City Council to meet and discuss Don Bosco

The Merri-bek City Council will meet on 12 August to consider its position on the future of Don Bosco. We’re hoping to present our petition (now with over 5,500 signatures!) and for an opportunity for community members to speak to council directly about why this space must remain in community hands.

We’ve written to key Ministers and local politicians, asking to meet to discuss the future of Don Bosco. We’ll let you know when we hear back.
