Councilmember Randy Moorman shared that City Manager Don Wick has asked Vibrant Community and Neighborhoods (VCN) staff to start planning for new courts at Davis Lane Park.

Construction can’t begin until the sewer-line warranty period wraps up, but this is still a big step forward — it means new courts are now officially in the plan, not just an idea on the table, and the ladies in the photo can start to look forward to courts again!

The city will be studying where the courts will go in the park and how many there will be, but Randy confirmed there will be at least one new court when the project moves ahead.
