Hello! I want to share some good news! On Monday, the City Council toured Davis Lane Park with staff before their meeting. They decided to direct staff to replace at least one of the courts that had been removed!

This is a big step forward, but staff did bring up concerns about restoring both courts, saying the newer standards for tennis courts require a wider margin around them, which could make it tricky to fit two courts. We’ll need to help them understand that simply replacing what we had before works just fine for our community.

It looks like it will take about two years to get the courts restored, so we’ll need to keep pushing to make sure this gets done right.
