Hello, Davis Lane Community!

It’s been quite a day, May 1, 2024.  We have a meeting in the morning Thursday with the City of Arvada and are very grateful to Rob Iafrate, Municipal Inspector, for making arrangements to meet with representatives of the engineering department.

Davis Lane Community (DLC) will be represented by Alan Lindsey, organizer, Dennis Beamis, engineer, Josh Savage, real estate attorney familiar with developer/city negotiations, and Oana Harrison, communications specialist. All of us are homeowners in the Davis Lane area and none of us are in an official legal capacity.

194 people have signed the online petition so far to save the courts.

We walked the community both north and south of Davis Lane Park and spoke with people face-to-face, and 82 individuals have signed our petition on paper to save the courts.

We now have more than 40 people committed to being at the City Council meeting on Monday.  Please be there Monday at 6:00 pm in green and blue to support the effort to save our courts.

P.S. (I’ve been asked what colors of green and blue to wear.  Match the green and blue of the courts if you can and wear any green and blue if not.)
