As many of you know there was an unfortunate and tragic incident at CRU Lounge recently. We are deeply saddened by the situation and fully cooperating with community officials in this matter. The incident that occurred is in no way a reflection of who we are, our guiding principles, and our policies. We, the owners, would never want or condone anything that occurred that night. Our thoughts and prayers have been and continue to be with those impacted.

As a result of the incident, we have been notified of a hearing to close CRU Tuscaloosa permanently. We are in dire need of our supporters at this time. Despite recent headlines and stories regarding CRU Tuscaloosa, we have been a place of entertainment and joy for our guests and a family and place of stability for our staff.
