"Crema is the first cafe that made me feel safe at Harvard." -A.A., MA

"The vitality of Harvard Square is due to its small, independent businesses." -A.G., MA

"I’m signing because I lived in Boston for 17 years, worked in Cambridge and Crema cafe is a community staple. When I’m back in town visiting, it’s one of my go to places. Crema cafe needs to stay!" -M.M., TX

Thank you for signing the Petition to Save Crema Cafe!

So far, 2,465 people have signed the Petition--we are ALMOST to the next milestone of 2,500 signatures. Please spread the word, and post to your networks!

By signing, we are standing in solidarity with local businesses. If given reasonable rent and long-term security, then Crema would want to stay in Harvard Square. We need to keep this anchor in place. When the rent costs are hiked up, you only invite in the national chains who can afford to rent a branch at a loss.

If you're in Cambridge, please join us tomorrow, Sunday December 16th at 6 pm at Crema Cafe, to meet community members, raise awareness about the Petition, and um, yeah, eat Crema out of house and home! Please come out to meet one another, enjoy Crema love, and discuss next steps. We will be delivering the Petition with signatures and comments to Cambridge City Council at their meeting on Monday December 17th, so it's critical to get the word out. Having support from local government goes a long way.

Thanks for your passion for Crema. It's the Crema de la Creme, and it's gotta stay!

Best,

Our Harvard Square
