This update is simply to let everyone know that we have not given up yet.  While, it may be awkward for CNN to directly say, "okay, the people have spoken, put it back on the air," I do feel strongly that there are multiple benefits to letting them know our thoughts on this.

Our preferred version of the morning show could easily be moved to Headline News.  HLN used to be the sister station to CNN that was actually used as such.  Now, it is for crime shows and that's about it, although they do carry CNN from 6am EST to 9am EST on the weekdays.

While, Phil Mattingly has received a new role within CNN, and he seems happy about it, I have not heard of any updates on Poppy Harlow getting a new role as of yet.

CNN needs to be a true alternative to MSNBC and FOX News.  They need to report facts and not allow Republicans or Democrats to spread lies when interviewed.  This simply means they need to allow more pushback by the anchors.  It seems that the corporate structure at CNN is forcing the anchors to be more concerned about the ability to "book the guests" rather than reporting the facts and stopping the guests from lying.

If we get enough signatures to be considered a true voice, then we will have the power to influence the executives to stop these terrible decisions.  And if they do not take this influence seriously, then with the ratings dropping lower and lower, they will either drop CNN completely or keep a watered down version with even more budget cuts and potentially only have it streaming on MAX.  This is speculation, but we know the executives are all about the money that the network makes.
