I was thinking that CNN This Morning with Poppy Harlow and Phil Mattingly could potentially become the CNN Headline News edition.  

CNN Headline News used to be secondary CNN channel with news commentary and news throughout the day, but has since divulged into a network dedicated to crime programming with one main exception.  The exception is HLN was airing CNN This Morning on this sister channel, and it looks like beginning on 2/26/24, they will begin airing CNN News Central on HLN.  

I have a lot of ideas of revamping both CNN and HLN, however this is not the appropriate place to voice those ideas, but I feel it is appropriate to at least throw out the idea that potentially we could keep the morning show by simply moving it to the sister station, if the current CEO is not satisfied with the program on the main channel.

Let's hope that at least this may form a temporary solution...a compromise.
