For months, you've been voicing your support to maintain vacation rentals in Cicero on Oneida Lake.
Yesterday, you were HEARD!
The Town of Cicero announced that it would no longer consider a vacation rental ban on March 8!!!
Instead, the question of vacation rental regulations will be considered as part of the Town's Comprehensive plan. This is encouraging. The Oneida Lake Vacation Rental Alliance supports reasonable regulations to protect the rights of homeowners and build trust in communities.
We encourage Cicero residents to apply to serve on the Town Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, to ensure that vacation rentals remain a part of the town's long-term considerations.
We've come this far by engaging the local government. Participating in the Comprehensive Planning Process will ensure that our point of view will be well represented.
