We did it - all 662 of us! A huge thank you for all your efforts.

The rescission motion was defeated at the Council meeting on Tuesday 10th September. Councillors Jolly, Glynatsis and O’Brien voted for the rescission (i.e. against the park), while Councillors Stone, Wade and Crossland voted against the motion. The vote was 3-3, so Mayor Crossland used his casting vote to support the park. Council can now proceed with planning the construction.
