An exciting update today, as we have reached over 500 petition supporters - a big thank you to everyone who took the time to read and sign! For context, the Charlotte Street Stage 1 council consultation received a total of 256 responses and the Stage 2 survey 239 responses, so we are hoping this petition reinforces majority community support for the new park.

We have just over a week before the petition will be sent to the City of Yarra’s CEO, prior to the council meeting on 10 September, and we would love to boost numbers even further. So please have a chat with your neighbours, colleagues, and anyone else you know in the Richmond community who might like to add their support. Don’t forget to include suburb name (under ‘city’), postcode, and connection to Charlotte Street under ‘I’m signing because’.
