50,000 rounds last year, 60,000 this year!!!
The latest figures released by Auckland Council show that the number of rounds played at Chamberlain Park in the 12 months to 31 March 2019 has increased by 20%.
This amazing increase reflects the need for a well maintained public golf course like Chamberlain. It also shows the growing popularity of the sport of golf in Auckland and this growth will continue as the population expands.
SAVE CHAMBERLAIN PARK will be working hard to ensure the golfing experience at Chamberlain is a good one. We also will continue with our plan to improve access and utilisation of the park and building by other members of the community.
Such a beautiful green space needs to be saved and shared!!
