Save Chamberlain Park Incorporated

Mar 15, 2017
As part of the Auckland Council Annual Budget, the Albert-Eden Local Board is proposing as a new priority progressing the implementation of the Chamberlain Park masterplan.
As a supporter of the efforts to prevent Chamberlain Park being reduced from an 18-hole golf course, please record your opposition to this proposal by sending the following or a similar message:
“Re Albert-Eden Local Board I oppose the proposal to include progressing the implementation of the Chamberlain Park masterplan as a priority in the Auckland Council Annual Budget on the grounds that the plan will reduce this iconic and well-used golf course from 18 to 9 holes and that the costs involved are disproportionate and will actually lead to lower utilisation of the park and a reduction in green space.”
The more opposing messages they get, the more the Council will pay attention.
