We must keep the pressure on, help me hit the 10,000 target 🎯

Hi everyone,

I’ve been pushing Castle Point Council for answers about the dredging. Their latest response says the project is “on track”, but they still haven’t actually confirmed whether the work has gone out to tender or when a contractor will be appointed.

With September almost here, we cannot afford for this to keep dragging on. 🚨A bit of rain doesn’t change the absolute state of the lake and the unspeakable cruelty of what has happened this year.

The message is simple: the restoration needs to be completed by the end of this winter.

We’re now nearly at 6,000 signatures! We need 10,000 to be taken seriously.

If you’ve already signed, please share the petition again. Get it in front of as many people as possible.

Let’s keep the pressure on and make sure the Council delivers. WE CANNOT HAVE ANOTHER SUMMER LIKE THIS ONE.
