Please come join us this Saturday, 15 July, at noon in front of the cafe in Calverley Grounds to celebrate the wonderful green spaces of Tunbridge Wells (and to show your opposition to the proposed civic complex, of course!). Bring a picnic and stay for the afternoon. A photo is planned to be taken at 12:15 so please come early. This is the first of two big events over the next fortnight. The second is the one we've all been waiting for, the debate with Full Council. This will happen on Wednesday 26 July, from 6:30pm in the town hall. Anyone can attend and we'd love to have you there. The more who attend the bigger the impact and the greater the chance of success. Do you want to know how else can you help ahead of the debate? Great! The best way to persuade wavering councillors is to send them a letter/email of your concerns. Not sure what to say? We've got it covered. Ours is not the only petition being debated on the night (yes, the one thing TWBC is doing a good job of is in riling the borough's residents). This petition complements ours, particularly with regards to planning policy that is based on gut instinct, changing with the wind, rather than as a cohesive strategy.
