Since 1939, television sets have brought love, joy, and happiness into millions of households. Cable TV networks gave the world beloved shows, memorable bumpers and cool logos and branding that those who grew up with them still remember to this day.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, streaming services became more popular and cable TV networks have either been airing marathons of the same shows, like the Nickelodeon networks, or have shut down, like the international Disney Channels, Universal Kids, and Smile.

I've been watching cable TV for years and all of this makes me sad, and I bet a lot of people are sad, too. Streaming isn’t the same as watching things on cable, and we really need future generations to have the same upbringing.
