I want to raise your attention on the fact that the owner of this land and developer, Mr Tony Romanin (and his companies) was fined in 2017 by Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) for non-compliance for illegally clearing this lot from vegetation, and filling wetlands with soil. The image below provided by NVCA show the part of land cleared and wetlands filled.

How could NVCA and the Town of Wasaga Beach approve such a high density project in a Natural Heritage System Category 1 & 2 site which includes protected wetlands, vegetation and natural habitat ? This won't be acceptable.
