Our Freeholder, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, is imposing an exorbitant rent increase, equivalent to 700 times the current annual figure, whilst offering a vastly reduced lease term, threatening the existence of this local club which was established in 1886.

Broad Street Amateur Boxing Club is part of the Highways registered charity and has delivered unrestricted use to all sectors of the community, without any restriction on ethnic, religious or gender participation, whilst meeting all government objectives of use and participation.

Run by experienced, qualified coaches on a purely voluntary basis, Broad Street  provides the opportunity to learn the sport of boxing for free whilst receiving mentoring and forming important friendships
