Thank you to everyone who supported this petition. On 18th April, council approved a design for 45-degree parking at the northern carpark (Link to the minutes below). I know we all would've loved to retain the 90-degree parking, however, due to space restrictions and substantial costs involved, it wasn't feasible. Following all the recent attention this petition has created, along with some pressure from the local residents, it is also worth noting that a proposal is being developed to beautify and activate the overall area: some extra good news! I would like to take this opportunity to also thank Councillor Ryan Burns for his support in this matter. His support was crucial in achieving a mutually beneficial outcome.
