My dearest friends, and my fellow supporters:
It is my unpleasant duty to report to you, that at 5 PM on December 31, 2022, after nine decades, the owners of Bischoff, closed their doors for good. I wish I didn’t have to write this letter of profound grief. We FOUGHT to try to make them hear us. I even tried to call them and prepare a letter with our petition to make them aware that closing Bischoffs would be very consequential. Yet, they ignored us and decided to do it Anyway, I am very devastated, and I am crushed.
We are not giving up though, we will continue to fight, and I will send that petition on your behalf to the former owners of that building and to tell them how big of a mistake they made by closing down this piece of americana, but for now I want to thank each and everyone of you for helping me in this important mission. please without fail Continue to spread this message nevertheless, tell the story of this important piece of americana but now, with it even more bigger message: Reopen Bischoffs now!
Please do not let this piece of America, this legacy of Teaneck, die in vain
