Sunday started extremely well for Belle Vue campaign supporter Alex Hatcliffe.

After a week in the workshop preparing his car, the youngster was racing at Warton Stock car club in his limo as our picture shows.

Unfortunately, he was on the receiving end of an extremely hard hit, that saw him take a trip to the local A&E.

Who knew campaigning for the stadium was so tough!!
