At a time when greyhound racing in Manchester is severely under threat, viewers of ITV's Coronation Street will see a major new storyline including greyhound 'Cerberus'.

We understand from reports, that it begins when a poorly Cerberus is taken to the vets by popular Corrie character Evelyn Plummer (played by Maureen Lipman).

Over the coming episodes we hope that Cerberus features regularly, to inadvertently boost the profile of our campaign to #SaveBelleVue - the home of UK greyhound racing.

ITV will be airing these scenes in the week commencing Monday, March 16.
