Two years ago this week, Wimbledon Stadium was forced to close its doors for the last time. The loss of the 'Grand Old Lady' is still felt with much pain, anger and resentment.

They said it would never happen. Sadly, the picture below shows that it did.

Today, we are fighting another battle against an equally greedy developer, for another historic stadium. This time Belle Vue in Manchester is the subject of a planning application.

Be under no illusion, as we have seen so many times now, once permission is granted the stadiums are demolished, never to return.

As Manchester council decides whether to hear the planning application in April or not, we need to hear your voice.
